Teaching how to inspect scaffolds in an efficient manner, to establish shortcomings, draw up a correct report of the findings and declare the scaffold safe or not.
The candidate must have the necessary knowledge to ensure:
- The application of measures to avoid persons or objects from falling;
- The application of safety measures to control risks in changing weather conditions;
- The application of the conditions as to the maximum allowable load.

- The theoretic exam takes 20 minutes (max 30)
- The practical exam takes about 30 minutes

Target audience
- Employees who are able to inspect scaffolds (fixed scaffolds, rolling scaffolds, hanging scaffolds, …) in an efficient manner.
- The scaffold inspector is used by the scaffold user/employer at regular intervals to establish whether or not a scaffold is still safe to be climbed on and to be used.

Know when earthing is necessary and how to achieve it
